Two aberrant species of Opiinae are described and illustrated from Vietnam, of which one is included into a new genus (Canalopius gen. n.; type species: C. periscopus sp. n.). The other species, Xynobius chrysops sp. n. belongs to an aberrant group of species near X. maculipennis (Enderlein, 1912).

Foram coletados 2 630 parasìtóides de Anastrephaspp., pertencentes a cinco espécies de Braconidae, em quatro locais de dois municípios do Estado do Amazonas. Optussp. foi a espécie predominante no estudo, ocorrendo com maior freqüência na área urbana de Manaus. Doryctobracon areolatus(Szépligeti, 1911) foi a espécie predominante nas áreas rurais. As comunidades foram delimitadas e caracterizadas através de índices faunísticos. As comunidades apresentaram quocientes de similaridade entre 82 e 100%.

Bitomoides gen. nov. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Opiinae) from Europe

Bitomoides gen. nov. (type species: Bitomus latus Papp, 1999) is described and illustrated. In addition Phaedrotoma recondes spec. nov. and Chelonus lukasi nom. nov. are validated.

Doryctobracon crawfordi (Viereck) was recorded in the states of Amapá and Roraima, Brazil. This is also the first time that this parasitoid is associated with Anastrepha atrigona Hendel from Geissospermum argenteum.

New Indo-Australian subgenera and species of the genera Xynobius Foerster and Ademoneuron Fischer (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Opiinae)

Two new subgenera of the genus Xynobius Foerster, 1862, from the Southern Hemisphere are described and illustrated: Paraxynobius (type species Xynobius granulatus spec. nov. from New Zealand), and Sulcynobius (type species X. latisulcus spec. nov. from Sulawesi). One new species of the genus Ademoneuron Fischer, 1988, is added: A. yasirae spec. nov. from Indonesia (Halmahera).

Foram coletados 3.008 braconídeos em larvas/pupas de moscas-das-frutas em 26 espécies de frutos, distribuídos em 33 municípios paulistas. A maioria dos braconídeos pertencia a Opiinae (96,2%), representada por quatro espécies - Doryctobracon areolatus (Szépligeti), Doryctobracon brasiliensis (Szépligeti), Opius bellus (Gahan) e Utetes anastrephae (Viereck) - e os demais a Alysiinae (3,8%), representada apenas por Asobara anastrephae (Muesebeck). Doryctobracon areolatus foi atraída por mais frutos hospedeiros de moscas-das-frutas (26) e ocorreu na maioria dos municípios amostrados, totalizando 77,5% dos parasitóides coletados. Reared Opiinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) from Argentina

The results of the identification of a small collection of Opiinae reared from Agromyzidae from Argentina are reported; six new species and one new genus (Lorenzopius gen. nov.; type species: Lorenzopius calycomyzae spec. nov.) are described. The East Palaearctic and North Oriental species of the genus Psyttalia Walker (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Opiinae) are reviewed. Two new species of the genus Diachasmimorpha Viereck, 1913 (Braconidae: Opiinae) are described: D. feijeni spec. nov. from Bhutan (reared from Bactrocera minax (Enderlein) (Diptera: Tephritidae) in fruits of Citrus reticulata Blanco (mandarin)) and D. budrysi spec. nov. from Far East Russia. A key to the Palaearctic species is added, including two similar species (Fopius alternatae (Tobias, 1977), and F. myolejae (Tobias, 1977)).

One new species of the genus Pseudorhinoplus Fischer, 1972, and one of the genus Zelomorpha Ashmead, 1900 from Japan are described and illustrated. The generic limits of both genera are discussed. The genus Ahngeria Kokujev, 1902 is a new junior synonym of Coccygidium Saussure, 1892, and the subgenus Fopius Wharton, 1987 is given generic rank. New combinations are: Pseudorhinoplus taiwanicus (Fischer, 1975), Diachasmimorpha mellea (Gahan, 1915), D. longicaudata (Ashmead, 1905), D. aino (Watanabe, 1938), D. paeoniae (Tobias, 1980), D. tryoni (Cameron, 1911), and Coccygidium transcaspicum (Kokujev, 1902).
